I am a young entrepreneur, an amateur mathematician, and a wannabe intellectual. I am based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Many people know me as Bal. This is the nickname that I am stuck with since high school.
My day job is running two companies I founded in 2007: Aidan Corporation (an IT company) and ArdentEdu (an educational consulting company). Both companies are based in KL.
In 2009, I co-founded lot.my, an e-commerce domain for Malaysian businesses.
As you can possibly deduce by reading this, I totally dig the entrepreneurial life.
Since 2006, I have been training the Malaysian national team to the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Also, I volunteer as an MIT Educational Counselor: my responsibility entails giving introductory talks to potential students and conducting interviews for Malaysian applicants.

yeah, aint free education the coolest thing.
on our part, the important thing is to have a modicum of self discipline, to complete a course from beginning to end. bukan cacamarba je…watch videos here and there, and stop watching when it gets boring (like i usually do)

pool of online courses..pretty cool too
thanks a lot for sharing
of course, it all started from http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm . MIT is the first major university to share all of their academic courses online, before others jumped on the bandwagon
